FAQ
TripMate supports Sydney trains (T1 to T9), Sydney Metro (M1), and Sydney buses. Train and metro use live TfNSW data; bus uses on-device scheduled timetables.
No. There is no sign-in and no guest-mode gate. Open the app and go. You can set a local display name in Settings.
Arm it from the home screen during an active trip. It alerts you a configurable number of stops before your destination (default: 2). Test it in Settings → Nap Sleep Alarm.
Yes. v1.0 is fully free with all features included: saved trips, planning, guidance, stats, and offline timetables. No ads.
On the results screen for train and metro journeys, tap the bookmark icon and name your route. Saved trips appear on the home screen. Bus results cannot be bookmarked yet.
Tap CANCEL TRIP on the home screen while a trip is in progress. Trips also auto-log when you arrive.
Location (When In Use) centres the map and finds your nearest station. It is not sent to TripMate's servers. Trip requests to TfNSW use station coordinates from the bundled database, not your GPS position. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Settings → Data → Delete User Data removes saved trips, history, preferences, and cached routes from your device. Deleting the app removes everything. There is no cloud account to delete.
